JCI On Tuesday Was Closed Greening 1.79 Percent To 4,706.49 Levels
JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) has maintained its strengthening since this morning, Tuesday, April 14. JCI ended up 1.79 percent or 82.60 points to the level of 4,706.49.
In closing the trade, there were 262 stocks rising, 143 stocks weakening, and 137 stocks stagnating. Trading volume was recorded at 7.01 billion shares and transacted at Rp5.97 trillion.
Binaartha Sekuritas analyst, M. Nafan Aji Gustama said that the market appreciated Donald Trump's statement that he was committed to increasing the oil production limit from 10 million barrels per day (bpd) to 20 million bpd in OPEC plus the meeting later, so that commodity prices would appreciate.
"This also affects the strengthening of the market on a regional scale," Nafan told VOI.
In addition, he continued, market players are eagerly awaiting the results of the BI RDG in order to maintain the BI 7DRR at the 4.5 percent level.
This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Envy Technologies Indonesia Tbk (ENVY) which rose 34.52 percent to Rp226, PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF) which gained 17.75 percent to Rp1,360 , and PT Soechi Lines Tbk (SOCI) which strengthened 16.07 percent to Rp130.
While stocks that are in the top losers ranks, including PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Syaria Tbk (BTPS) which fell 6.93 percent to Rp2,550, PT Karya Bersama Anugerah Tbk (KBAG) which fell 6.56 percent to Rp228 , and PT Rukun Raharja Tbk (RAJA) which fell 5.22 percent to Rp109.
