D+3 Lebaran, Homecomers Are Still Crowded With Kampung Rambutan Terminal

JAKARTA - The number of travelers is still high at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta on Wednesday or D+3 Lebaran 2025.

Based on data received by the Controller of the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, Mulyono, the number of intercity and inter-provincial bus departures (AKAP) is still relatively high, with 74 buses carrying 1188 passengers from 06.00 am to 14.00 pm.

This number increased quite significantly when compared to the D-day of Eid al-Fitr or Monday (31/3). It was recorded that at the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri there were only 61 buses departing, with a total of 613 passengers.

Mulyono explained that the majority of passengers who choose to go home on D+3 Lebaran aim to various regions in West Java.

"The majority of the homecoming flow is still being monitored in several cities in West Java," said Mulyono as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 2.

Meanwhile, based on data from 06.00 to 14.00 WIB, the number of arrivals to Kampung Rambutan Terminal was recorded at 95 buses carrying 1065 passengers.

Previously, the peak of the 2025 Lebaran homecoming flow at Kampung Rambutan Terminal occurred on D-3 or March 28 with a total of 3,324 passengers.
