Thousand Islands Crowded With Tourists During Eid Holidays
JAKARTA - The Thousand Islands is visited by 4,627 tourists who want to spend their time off.
"A total of 4,627 tourists came to the Thousand Islands region from several entrances (on April 1)," said Head of the Thousand Islands Regency Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf), Sonti Pangaribuan, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 2.
He said there were 854 visitors who entered from Marina Ancol Pier,
Then 2,214 people entered from Muara Angke Pier, 1,314 people entered from Tanjung Pasir Pier, and 245 people crossed from Cituis Pier.
This visit to the Thousand Islands has increased by 80 percent compared to Monday (31/3) or D (Lebaran) day with 2,565 people.
"When there were 620 visitors from Marina Ancol Pier, 1,502 people from Muara Angke, 413 people from Tanjung Pasir, and 30 people from Cituis," said Sonti.
Sonti explained that tourist visits are expected to continue to increase along with the Idufitri 1446 Hijri holiday.

"Tourists will continue to arrive, take advantage of the holiday moments," he added.
He said to go to the Thousand Islands, tourists can access Kali Adem and Marina Ancol Piers at different rates.
Through Kali Adem Pier, visitors can use wooden ships at a rate of around Rp. 50,000 to Rp. 80 thousand, and can also use DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency ships at a rate of around Rp. 44 thousand to Rp. 74 thousand.
"Meanwhile, through Marina Ancol Pier, the fare is around Rp. 175 thousand to Rp. 300 thousand," he said.
