Yumi's Cells Bring Kim Go Eun, Ahn Bo Hyun And Lee Yoo Bi Together
JAKARTA - The latest Korean drama Yumi's Cells provides news about the players who have joined this project. Previously at the end of 2020, actress Kim Go Eun was confirmed to play the main character, Yumi.
Today, Tuesday, April 27th, several other players were announced, namely Ahn Bo Hyun, Lee Yoo Bi, and Park Ji Hyun.
Yumi's Cells which was adapted from a webtoon tells of an employee named Yumi with various cells in his brain that control every movement, thought, and feeling.
Yumi's love cell is said to be in a coma because Yumi ended her relationship. As a result, Yumi tries to get up to improve her career and love life as Yumi's brain cells also control her.
Ahn Bo Hyun plays Goo Woong, a game developer who is honest and catches Yumi's attention. Lee Yoo Bi plays Ruby, someone who is cunning when it comes to love life but cares about others.
Park Ji Hyun plays Goo Woong's friend and Yumi's rival in romance. In addition, SHINee's Minho was confirmed as Woo Gi and GOT7's Jinyoung is considering the character Yoo Pig.
Its highly acclaimed webtoon made the production team want to mix the original footage with the animated version. Yumi's Cells will have several story sections consisting of 14 episodes each season.
Yumi's Cells was written by Song Jae Jung, Kim Yoon Joo, and Kim Kyung Ran who worked on Find Me in Your Memory. Lee Sang Yeob who is known as Familiar Wife will direct this drama.
Yumi's Cells airs in the second half of 2021 on tvN and TVing.
