Incident In Spanish Coal Mine, 2 Miners Died
JAKARTA - Two miners died on Monday and four others were missing due to an accident - previously referred to by local media as an explosion - a mine in the Asturias region in northern Spain.
As reported by Reuters on Monday, March 31, emergency services said three other people were injured by engine damage inside the mine in Degana at 09.32 a.m. local time.
Three helicopters and two ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
El Mundo's previous newspaper said there was an explosion in the mine and several people were trapped.
