Viral Mother-Mother Breaks Angke Toll Road, Police Call Drivers Don't Understand GPS
JAKARTA - The police have arrested a woman with the initials B who went viral for breaking into the Angke 1 toll road, North Jakarta, on a motorbike. From the examination, it was found that this mother did not understand how to use the GPS navigation system.
"The person concerned did not understand and used the GPS (version) of his car and then directed him to the toll booth and he followed it," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Tuesday, April 27.
It is known that these mothers have also lived in Jakarta for a long time. This motorist uses GPS to return home until it is finally directed to enter the toll road.
"He admits that he is not familiar with Jakarta roads. Then the road uses the existing GPS but is directed to enter the toll road," said Yusri.
"Why did he enter innocently? He said because he happened to have a toll card, he said. He opened it innocently. He was not originally from Jakarta, he was from the Riau Islands," continued Yusri.
The mothers of motorbikes were tracked down by their vehicle's police number, B 3055 PCB. The address of the vehicle owner in the South Tangerang area was detected.
"The motorcyclist came to the police station to confess his actions," said Yusri.
Related to this incident, motorists were subject to Article 278 of the Traffic Law with a fine of Rp. 500 thousand.
