Minister Of ATR/BPN Ensures Nondigial Land Certificates Are Not Confiscated By The State
However, Nusron recommends that the public start the transformation process to digital certificates. It is known, this issue has also gone viral on social media.
"It will not be confiscated, but we recommend immediately carrying out the transformation process from analog to digital," Nusron told the media crew when met at the KH Grand Mosque. Hasyim Asy'ari Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, Monday, March 31.
Nusron explained that digital transformation needs to be implemented, especially for people who still have old land certificates. Especially in the range from 1961 to 1997.
"Especially the certificate issued from 1961-1997," he said.
In addition, said Nusron, old certificates that have not been digital have no clear details. For example, there is no head of village map and address of land location.
"Why? The certificate is still very manual. There is no Kadastral map, there is only a picture of the land tilted behind it," he said.
"But, where does there be an address. That's if in the Jabodetabek area, people are vulnerable and then piled up, overlapping," he added.
According to Nusron, digitalization is a form of protection against land certificates. He considered that people who are anti-digitization are those who are anti-transformed. In fact, old certificates are prone to multiplying, resulting in disputes.
"Digitalisasi itu dalam rangka untuk memproteksi sertifikatnya. Buktinya kemarin kalau ada banjir, kalau sertifikatnya kemudian tenggelam, gimana? Dengan digital, kan, aman jadinya. Itu contohnya gitu, jadi dengan digital ini justru lebih aman," jelas Nusron.
