Titiek Puspa Undergoes Eid In ICU Due To Broken Blood Vessels

JAKARTA - The legendary singer Titiek Puspa had to go through Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Fitr in the ICU, Monday, March 31, after experiencing a blood vessel rupture on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Until now, he is still undergoing intensive treatment at Medistra Hospital, South Jakarta.

Sri Budiyani, the Medistra Hospital Manager who was met by reporters several days ago said that the "Kupu-Kupu Malam" singer may still have to be treated until after Lebaran. However, the certainty of when Titiek Puspa will be allowed to go home is still uncertain.

"Probably yes (treated until Lebaran), but we hope that his condition will be stable soon so he can go home sooner," said Sri Budiyani.

Currently, Titiek Puspa's condition is said to be quite stable. Even so, the hospital still does not allow families to visit because he is still under strict supervision.

"He is still under intensive monitoring, so he cannot be visited. Full rest is very much needed so that his recovery is optimal," he added regarding Titiek Puspa Lebaran in the ICU.

Sri also explained that the team of doctors was still observing the health condition of the 87-year-old singer. Based on the examination, the initial suspicion that the cause of Titiek Puspa's fainting on set was fatigue.

"From what we can say, fatigue was the main factor that affected his condition at that time," he said.

In addition, Titiek Puspa is still unconscious. This is due to the drug effect given before he undergoes medical treatment.

With this condition, Lebaran in the ICU became a reality that Titiek Puspa had to face this year. Families and fans can only hope and pray that he recovers quickly and return to his normal activities.
