Funded By The State Budget Of IDR 906 Billion, The Padang Sicincin Toll Road Launches Lebaran 2025

Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati said that the support for the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for the Padang "Sicincin" Toll Road in West Sumatra reached Rp906.24 billion.

"This toll road was built under the #UangKiTa State Budget through funding from the Public Service Agency (BLU) of the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) with a budget realization of Rp906.24 billion until March 20, 2025," Sri Mulyani said as quoted on her official Instagram @smindrawati, Monday, March 31.

The toll road has been opened functionally. Homecomers who use the land route to the West Sumatra region can choose the option to pass through the toll road.

Sri Mulyani added, with a segment of 35.9 kilometers, the Padang 'Sicincin Toll Road can cut the travel time by up to about 25 minutes.

"The good news is, travelers can pass the Padang 'Sicincin Toll Road for free during the Lebaran homecoming period this time. Come on, let's take advantage!" he said.

Based on data compiled by PT Hutama Karya (Persero), the total number of vehicles that have passed the functional toll road until Saturday, March 29, 2025, has reached 4,825 units.

The opening of the Padang Section 'Sicincin Toll Functional Operational Operations will take effect on March 24 starting at 08.00 WIB until April 10 at 17.00

Even though it is still free, the manager still requires toll users to use electronic money when entering the toll gate.

Hutama Karya has also prepared two rest areas or rest locations, precisely at kilometer 24. In that location, apart from the existence of a shopping location, a modular public refueling station (SPBU) has also been prepared.

These various supporting facilities are expected to support and facilitate the flow of homecoming and back to Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri, especially in unraveling congestion points.
