It Happens Again! Contact Shoot With KKB Papua: 1 Police Killed, 2 Others Injured

PAPUA - Gunfire between security forces and an Armed Criminal Group (KKB), in Ilaga, Puncak Regency, Papua, occurred again.

During the shootout, one Brimob member, Bharada Komang, was reported killed and two other members of the National Police suffered gunshot wounds.

"It is true that there was a shootout at around 12.30 WIT, and we are still pursuing it", said Papua Police Chief, Inspector General Mathius D Fakhiri, as reported by Antara, Jayapura, Tuesday, April 27.
