Google Meet View Is Now More Dynamic With Cuted Ubin

JAKARTA Google Meet got the latest layout design on Friday, March 28, 2025. This update was launched to reduce unnecessary details and highlight the faces of meeting participants.

The Google Meet layout is now made more dynamic with vertical rectangular tiles. That way, Google will remove unnecessary backgrounds and prioritize the face seen on the screen.

Tile or tiles are also made more tightly to minimize unused space. To improve visualization, Google will change the appearance on tiles with a dead camera. The view will now be more colorful.

Although the tile display is now in vertical shape, Google Meet will still display tiles in standard or large sizes if the 'dynamic tile' is not activated. Dynamic tiles are tiles made from the meeting conference room.

If this feature is enabled, Google Meet can display individual video tilings from each participant in the conference room. However, if this artificial intelligence (AI)-based feature is not activated, the tiling display will not be cut.

Google has also changed the policy of embedding pins. If previously the meeting organizers could only embed three tiles, the number has now been increased to six. Admin is also given the freedom to regulate its layout.
