Minister Of Public Works Calls WFA Policy To Help Homecoming Flows More Organized

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo revealed that the work from anywhere or WFA policy to help Eid homecoming in 2025 is more organized.

"It's much more organized, my feeling says because there is work from anywhere," said Dody at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate, Central Java, Friday.

He added that the thing to watch out for is the momentum when the backflow.

"Later we have to be aware of the backflow because the time is a bit short," said Dody.

He said that during the journey to go home on the North Coast (Pantura) national road from West Java to Central Java, the flow of traffic to Jakarta on national roads was not too crowded even though there was a one way on toll roads.

This is also because the national road conditions have been repaired so that travelers can travel safely and safely.

"The flow of traffic to Jakarta is not too crowded, so even though one way is applied on toll roads, traffic flows to Jakarta are still thank God," said Dody.

In addition to the good national road stability conditions, the Minister of Public Works also said that the implementation of one way, one unit, has helped the 2025 Eid homecoming flow to be more organized.

Regarding the provision of toll tariff discounts, Dody said this was a form of partiality to the people traveling for Lebaran 2025 homecoming.

For information, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Pratikno emphasized that strong synergy between related parties is the key to properly overseeing the flow of homecoming.

"We continue to monitor conditions in the field and are ready to respond quickly if there are problems. Complete preparation and solid coordination between the government and stakeholders ensure the smooth flow of homecoming," said Pratikno.

Meanwhile, the Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, said that his party had prepared various policies to ensure that the 2025 Eid homecoming was safe and fun, including at Pasar Senen Station, Jakarta, which is the busiest station this time.
