TMII Prepares Various Attractions, Targets 120,000 Visitors At The 2025 Eid Holiday
JAKARTA - The Eid holiday in Jakarta has always been a special moment for residents who choose to stay in the capital city. Various tourist destinations are the main choice to spend time with their families, one of which is Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta.
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) targets the number of visitors as many as 120 thousand during the Eid holiday which will take place from March 31 to April 6, 2025.
"Our target for visitors in this year's Lebaran week is 120,000 people, a growth of around 25-30 percent compared to the previous year," said TMII President Director, Intan Ayu Kartika, when confirmed in Jakarta, as quoted by ANTARA.
To achieve this target, TMII has prepared various special events to welcome Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri. Some of them are Torch Parades on Takbiran nights which will start from Plaza Promenade to Plaza Kori Agung.
In addition, TMII also presents Bazar Oase Nusantara which presents various Indonesian culinary delights, Cultural Attractions such as Kecak Dance, Stone Jump, Lumping Horse, Sisingaan, and Soul of Youth performances at Plaza Kori Agung. There is also a Museum Night Explore program at the Indonesian Museum and Pusaka Museum.
Various children's and the people's games are also spread across several regional platforms, including Perdana Ria Jakarta at Plaza Lokomotif, as well as Sendung Lebaran with Shaky Town Band which will add to the lively atmosphere of the celebration.
"We hope that the target number of visitors can be achieved with a variety of interesting activities that can be enjoyed by residents of Jakarta and tourists from outside the city who vacation here with their families," said Intan.

In addition, TMII provides free entry access for people who want to perform Eid prayers at Plaza Kong Emas on Monday, March 31.
During this event period, the operational hours of TMII start at 06.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB, with access to entrance through doors 1, 3, and 4.
"On Lebaran Day, we provide Id prayer facilities at Plaza Kong Emas with free access for the public from 05.00 WIB to 07.00 WIB, as well as vehicle parking discounts," he added.
TMII also provides 36 typical culinary choices of Nusantara in the Nusantara Foodcourt as well as an additional 100 culinary bazaar tenants spread across three main points.
To ensure the comfort and security of visitors during the event, TMII has prepared two health post points to anticipate a medical emergency.
In addition, the number of mobile transportation (angling) has been increased from 30 to 42 units, and one electric bus unit is provided for transportation within the region.
"We also provide four free shuttle units connecting LRT TMII Stations with the TMII area, as well as establishing Poskotis, Traffic Posts, and Security Posts at two points to improve the security and order of visitors," explained Intan.
