Airlangga Hartarto And Sri Mulyani Are Summoned Again By The President, Because Rupiah Drops Against USD?

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto and Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani were seen at the Presidential Palace Complex, Wednesday, March 26. Coming separately, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani did not want to talk about the agenda of being summoned by President Prabowo.

The news circulating was that the summons was due to the rupiah exchange rate against the US dollar falling to the level of Rp. 16,618 per USD, the lowest since the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, Airlangga Hartarto explained that the summons by President Prabowo was related to the 2026 State Budget. Regarding the rupiah exchange rate against the declining American dollar, Airlangga also gave a short response.
