Jembrana Virus Goes Crazy In Mukomuko, Local Government Still Free Vaccine Fee

JAKARTA - The Agriculture Office of Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu Province, stated that until now it still eliminates the cost of injecting vaccines to prevent the Jembrana virus in local cattle.

"It is still free, there is no charge for people who need vaccines to prevent the Jembrana virus in their cows", said Head of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health, Mukomuko District Agriculture Office, in Mukomuko, quoted from Antara, Tuesday, April 27.

He said field farm workers and animal health centers were actively injecting vaccines to prevent Jembrana disease in cows belonging to residents.

He said the local government is helping with operational costs for livestock and animal health officers who inject vaccines to prevent Jembrana disease in cows.

"The operational field livestock officers are assisted from official trips. We have operational funds for officers who carry out vaccination activities for several farmer groups in this area", he said.

Regarding vaccination services for cows in this fasting month, he said, his party still provides services to people who propose vaccinating their cows.

Mukomuko received an additional 1,000 doses of vaccine to prevent the Jembrana virus in cattle from the local provincial government.

The Mukomuko District Government previously received 2,000 doses of vaccine to prevent Jembrana disease in cattle from the local provincial government to prevent Jembrana disease in 2,000 cows belonging to the community spread across 15 sub-districts in this area.
