This Is What Gundogan And Foden Did To Son After City Beat Spurs In The League Cup Final
JAKARTA - Aymeric Laporte led Manchester City to win the Premier League Cup for four consecutive seasons. The French defender's goal sealed City's 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the final which was held at Wembley Stadium, Sunday local time (Monday WIB).
Laporte broke the deadlock in the 82nd minute when he headed home Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick across the far post area with a header.
The goal was the result of City's hard work, which appeared to fully dominate the game throughout the match, but wasted many opportunities to break Tottenham's goal.
When the final whistle sounds, there is a beautiful sight worthy of all athletes. Two City players, Phil Foden and Ilkay Gundogan did not immediately run to celebrate the victory with their team-mates.
Instead, they went to comfort Spurs striker Son Heung-min who looked sad. He scratched while bending his body.

Caught by Sky Sports cameras, Gundogan gave Son some words of encouragement before Foden came and tapped the South Korea international on the back.
Gundogan and Foden weren't the only Man City players to cheer Son up, as Kevin De Bruyne did the same. The Belgian playmaker helped the Spurs mainstay players to get back on their feet.
