JAKARTA - Manchester City equaled Liverpool's record as the most successful club in the Premier League Cup competition, after winning the 2020/21 edition.
Aymeric Laporte's single goal ensured City beat Tottenham Hotspur in the 2020/21 season final at Wembley Stadium, London, Sunday local time (Monday WIB).

Since the last time Liverpool won, City confirmed their dominance in the League Cup by winning six victories after six appearances in the final in the last 10 seasons.
This dominance is even more evident when you look at the fact that City won the League Cup four seasons in a row, five times in the last six years and six times in the last eight seasons.
