20 Percent Toll Rates Discount For Trans Java And Sumatra Applicable Today, Check The Details
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) together with other toll road business entities (BUJT) has imposed a 20 percent toll rate discount on a number of strategic sections of Trans Java and Trans Sumatra starting today, Monday, March 24, 2025.
Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said the tariff cut program was implemented for eight days in two periods, namely four days on homecoming flow and four days on backflow.
This step is part of Jasa Marga's strategic efforts to create a more efficient, safe and cost-effective travel ecosystem.
"The total number of toll roads that get tariff cuts reaches seven toll roads, spread across Trans Java and Trans Sumatra. This cut will apply to road users who travel continuously," said Lisye in her official statement, quoted Monday, March 24.
The 20 percent discount in Trans Java includes the Jakarta 'Cikampek Toll Road, MBZ Flyover, Kanci Palimanan Toll Road, Batang' Semarang Toll Road and Semarang Toll Road Section ABC.
Meanwhile, Trans Sumatra includes the Belawan 'Medan' Tanjung Morawa (Balmara) toll road and the 'Kualanamu' Tebing Tinggi (MKTT) toll road section.
Discounts for homecoming flow on the Trans Java Toll Road
In detail, the 20 percent discount on the flow of homecoming on the Trans Java Toll Road is valid from March 24, 2025 at 05.00 WIB to March 26, 2025 at 05.00 WIB on the Jasa Marga Group and Non Jasa Marga Group (CikopoPalimanan, Kanci' Pejagan, Pejagan' Pemalang, Pemalang'Batang) toll road rates from Jakarta (original Cikampek Utama) to Semarang (GT Kalikangkung destination) to be as follows:
- Class I Vehicles: Initially Rp440,000 to Rp352,000, tariff discount of Rp88,000.- Class II and III vehicles: Initially Rp679,500 to Rp543,600, tariff discount of Rp135,900.- Class IV and V vehicles: Initially Rp894,500 to Rp715,600, tariff discount of Rp178,900.
The discount on homecoming flow on March 26, 2025 at 05.00 WIB until March 28, 2025 at 05.00 WIB only applies to the Jasa Marga Group Toll Road for continuous travel rates from Jakarta (original Cikampek Utama GT) to Semarang (Kilangkung GT destination) as follows:
- Class I Vehicles: Initially Rp440,000 to Rp408,500, tariff discount of Rp31,500.- Class II and III Vehicles: Initially Rp679,500 to Rp632,300, tariff discount of Rp47,200.- Class IV and V Vehicles: Initially Rp894,500 to Rp830,500, tariff discount of Rp64,000.
Discounts for backflow on the Trans Java Toll Road
On the backflow of the Trans Java route, the 20 percent tariff discount is divided into April 3, 2025 at 05.00 WIB to April 5, 2025 at 05.00 WIB and April 8, 2025 at 05.00 WIB until April 10, 2025 at 05.00 WIB.
The tariff discount is applied to the Jasa Marga Group and Non Jasa Marga Group (Cikopo 'Palimanan, Kanci' Pejagan, Pejagan' Pemalang, Pemalang'Batang) to tariffs for continuous travel from Semarang (original Kalikangkung GT) to Jakarta (GT Cikampek Utama's goal) is as follows:
- Class I Vehicles: Initially Rp440,000 to Rp352,000, tariff discount of Rp88,000.- Class II and III vehicles: Initially Rp679,500 to Rp543,600, tariff discount of Rp135,900.- Class IV and V vehicles: Initially Rp894,500 to Rp715,600, tariff discount of Rp178,900.
Discounts for homecoming flow on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road
The 20 percent discount for homecoming flow via the Trans Sumatra Toll Road is valid from March 24, 2025 at 07.00 WIB to March 28, 2025 at 07.00 WIB, which is applied to two toll roads.
Consisting of the Jasa Marga Group (Belmera and Medan' Kualanamu 'High Cliffs) and the Non Jasa Marga Group (Kuala Tanjung' Tebing Tinggi' Parapat) as well as the Jasa Marga Group (Belmera and Medan' Kualanamu 'High Cliffs) and Non Jasa Marga Group (Indrapura' Kisaran) toll roads.
In detail, the tariff that applies after a discount for continuous travel from GT Tanjungpura/GT Pangkalan Brandan to GT Sinaksak is as follows:
- Class I Vehicles: Initially Rp193,500 to Rp170,900, tariff discount of Rp22,600.- Class II and III Vehicles: Initially Rp292,000 to Rp257,800, tariff discount of Rp34,200.- Class IV and V Vehicles: Initially Rp391,500 to Rp345,600, tariff discount of Rp45,900.
Then, the tariff that applies after a discount for continuous travel from GT Tanjungpura/GT Pangkalan Brandan to GT Kisaran is as follows:
- Class I Vehicles: Initially Rp236,000 to Rp209,800, tariff discount of Rp26,200.- Class II and III Vehicles: Initially Rp355,000 to Rp315,500, tariff discount of Rp39,500.- Class IV and V vehicles: Initially Rp475,000 to Rp422,000, tariff discount of Rp53,000.
Discounts for backflow on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road
The 20 percent discount for backflow via Trans Sumatra is valid on April 3, 2025 at 07.00 WIB until April 5, 2025 at 07.00 WIB and April 8, 2025 at 07.00 WIB until April 10, 2025 at 07.00 WIB.

Lisye added, to enjoy a 20 percent discount during this Lebaran homecoming and return period, toll road users are required to make transactions using the same electronic money card for the tap-in and tap-out processes.
"This tariff discount stimulus is expected to help reduce the potential for congestion by distributing vehicle flows more evenly and easing the burden of travel costs for users," he said.
