Honda Reportedly Working On The Latest Generation Brio, Will Hybrid System Be Embedded?

JAKARTA - Honda is reportedly preparing a new generation for its popular hatchback, Brio, who will be born in Japan.

Quoting from the Top Gear PH page, Monday, March 24, based on a report from Japanese automotive media Motorfan, it was revealed that there is a possibility that the latest generation Honda Brio will soon be offered in Japan.

Of course, this is a big deal considering that the model was never offered there, because the car was made for the market of developing countries, such as Indonesia, the Philippines to Vietnam.

Not much information was disclosed by Motorfan, but a little leak that the latest generation from Honda Brio will be redesigned, and will come with electrification. If true, of course it will be a breath of fresh air.

News circulated that the system presented was not a pure electric vehicle, but a hybrid. Perhaps, what is meant is a light hybrid version of the 1.2 liter engine that is already known to move Brio.

As is known, Honda Brio has not received an update for a long time. Finally, 2008 or the second generation. Thus, for about six years there has been no major update for this model.

It's just that, in 2023, Honda Indonesia presented a little refresher but only minor changes. For example, in the Gil and the front lights are getting more modern, the rest have no significant updates.

Of course, it is quite interesting for this latest report, if it has been launched, will it also be present in Indonesia? It is worth waiting.
