For The Minister Of Religion, FPI Needs To Be Granted Again
JAKARTA - The Minister of Religion (Menag) Fachrul Razi urged the Islamic Defenders Front to be granted another permit. Because, currently the FPI registered certificate number 01-00-00 / 010 / D.III.4 / VI / 2014, has expired as of June.
For Fachrul, Islamic organizations that participate in advancing this nation must continue to be supported by their existence and existence, FPI is one of them.
"I am of the opinion that any Islamic mass organization that is involved in advancing this nation should not be stopped. I encourage FPI to be granted another permit, "said Minister of Religion Fachrul Razi as quoted from kemenag.go.id, Thursday, November 28.
Moreover, continued Fachrul, FPI has made a statement of allegiance to Pancasila and NKRI, affixed with metarai. He said this must be supported and the government must immediately process the expired FPI SKT.
"Now they will not defend Pancasila and will continue to defend the Republic of Indonesia. We support this," he said.
Furthermore, Fachrul said, every association or whatever it is called, has the same right to associate and assemble, and express opinions, especially in a peaceful way.
"Islam is extraordinarily peaceful. We are open to all to build the Indonesian nation," he said.
Yesterday, the government had not yet extended the registered certificate (SKT) of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) community organization because it was waiting for further studies and recommendations from the Minister of Religion Fahcrul Razi.
"It was concluded that the FPI has submitted a request to extend the registered certificate and it turns out that there are still things that need to be explored. The Minister of Religion will later study it and conduct a deeper discussion," said Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menkopolhukam) Mahfud MD. after the Limited Coordination Meeting (Rakortas) with the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian and the Minister of Religion (Menag) Fachrul Razi, Wednesday, November 27.
At that time, Fachrur Razi explained, the Ministry of Religion needed to conduct an in-depth study of the FPI so that the SKT could be used.
"We will try to explore it further according to his statement, the statement was made with a stamp and we will investigate it again in the near future," he explained.
The FPI SKT registered in SKT 01-00-00 / 010 / D.III.4 / VI / 2014 has expired since June 20. They have indeed submitted proposals for SKT extension, since the position of Minister of Home Affairs is still held by PDIP politician Tjahjo Kumolo. However, SKT was never granted because they did not immediately complete the 20 administrative requirements.
