Monday Morning, Jakarta's Air Quality Is At A Moderate Level

JAKARTA - Air quality in DKI Jakarta on Monday, March 24, is in the medium category based on data from the air quality monitoring site, IQAir.

Based on observations at 05.10 WIB, the Air Quality Index (AQI), Jakarta was at 64 with a smooth particle (particulate matter / PM) 2.5. This figure makes Jakarta with the worst air quality 51 in the world.

Meanwhile, the city with the worst air quality in the world on Monday morning, namely Lahore (Pakistan), with an air quality index at 212. Then in second place Delhi (India) at 199.

In third place CHOI Mai (Thailand) at 179, then in fourth place there is Hanoi (Vietnam) at 177 and in fifth place in Dhaka (Bangladesh) at 173.

Furthermore, based on the Environmental Information and Hygiene System of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Environment Agency (DLH), it shows that the air quality in the two locations is in the medium category or the aesthetic value with a PM2.5 range of 51-100.

Meanwhile, the three locations are in the category of good or aesthetic value with a PM2.5 range of 0 - 50.

Some of these points include the Sunday Market in South Jakarta with the Air Quality Index at 60, Cempaka Putih in Central Jakarta with an Index at 10.

Meanwhile, the Kelapa Gading area in North Jakarta is at 12, Cengkareng in West Jakarta at 9 and Pulogadung, East Jakarta at 68.

DLH DKI Jakarta recommends that everyone in the area mentioned earlier wear a mask if they are outdoor.
