Aldila Runs Aground In The Third Superior's Hand At The Miami Open
JAKARTA - Indonesian women's tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi was stopped in the first round of the Miami Open after being defeated by the third seed of the WTA 1000 tournament on Saturday night local time or Sunday morning WIB.
Paired with Ukrainian Nadiia Kichenok, Nadia lost to third seed from Italy, Sara Errani/Jasmine Paolini, through a super tiebreak.
Left behind in the first game, Aldila/Nadia got up in the second game to take the match to the determination set. 9-6 seed in the third super tiebreak set, Aldila/Nadia finally lost 1-6 7-5 10-12, according to the WTA record.

Before Miami, Adilla competed at Indian Wells paired up with Hungarian actress Fanny Stollar. Aldila/Fanny stopped in the second half after a great start to beat US pair Jessica Pegula/Ashlyn Krueger in the first half.
In the second half at Indian Wells, Aldila/Fanny had to admit the superiority of Tereza Mihalikova/Olivia Nicholis with 1-6, 6-4, 2-10.
Sunshine Double became the beginning of the WTA Aldila tournament in the 2025 season.
Aldila experienced hearing loss of sudden or deafness late last year which forced her to undergo treatment and miss the tournament early in the year, including the Grand Slam Australian Open.
He ended the 2024 season faster due to injuries to the wrist area.
Aldila's Chinese tour was stopped at the Ningbo Open at the end of last October, and was unable to proceed to the Guangzhou Open as he had planned.
