Launching Homecoming Information Service Portal, Minister Of Public Works: It Is Hoped That Homecoming Travelers Will Be Safe

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) launched the Homecoming Line Information Service Portal today.

This service portal is expected to support the smooth flow of homecoming during the Eid holiday later.

PU Minister Dody Hanggodo said the service portal would help the public to find out information about homecoming.

"People who go home can be greatly helped by using this portal, which, among other things, will provide information on the homecoming route, as well as information about the posts that we have set initially, maybe 400 kilometers," said Dody to reporters at his office, Friday, March 21.

According to Dody, his party will again add these posts according to their needs later.

"Then maybe we will increase it up to what is tailored to the needs," he said.

Dody added that the Ministry of Public Works has also collaborated with Google to support the performance of the portal service.

"We are grateful to friends from Google who are willing to support this application, so that the live streaming can be maintained 24 hours a day and seven days a week," said Dody.
