Pramono Will Build International Hospital In Cakung

DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the DKI Provincial Government would build an international-scale regional public hospital (RSUD) in the Cakung area, East Jakarta.

This was revealed when opening the DKI Jakarta regional government (RKPD) development planning deliberation (musrenbang) in 2026 at the city/district level. This musrenbang contains proposals from regional apparatus.

"There are several interesting proposals, the new ones. Among them are the completion of the Cakung international hospital," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Central Jakarta, Friday, March 21.

Pramono asked for the construction of this international standard hospital to start faster. According to him, the laying of the construction first stone will be carried out in 2025.

"I ask that for this year ground breaking and development can be carried out. Because in principle it can be done," said Pramono.

Pramono also specifically asked his staff to continue to try to reduce the stunting rate in Jakarta. This is because Jakarta is the main barometer area for stunting reduction programs in Indonesia.

"Some regions are still 19 percent. I ask to be reduced to what is the decision, which is 14 percent," said Pramono.

Furthermore, Pramono claims to improve the quality of human resources, especially health workers in the Thousand Islands. This is because health services in the Thousand Islands are still not as optimal as the other five administrative cities in Jakarta.

"I have repeatedly visited the island of a thousand, I have seen for myself the problems of education, health problems, the bureaucracy of government on the island of a thousand, it is necessary to make improvements," he said.

In addition, in the preparation of the APBD next year, the DKI Provincial Government is still allocating a budget for handling classic problems, such as floods, congestion, and garbage.

"So, I have also asked all 5 mayors and 1 regent, the Thousand Islands Acting to immediately sit down with Mrs. Atika (Head of Bappeda) and her staff to follow up on the results of the musrembang," he explained.
