How To Adjust Sleep Pattern During Ramadan

JAKARTA - When entering the month of Ramadan, of course not only small things change in your daily life, such as diet, but also your sleep patterns. The reason is, with a dawn routine in the morning it makes you feel more sleepy and sleep patterns become messy.

Now, to improve sleep patterns so that you don't get drowsy easily after dawn and are strong enough to withstand sleepiness during the day, consider the following tips.

Regular exercise

So that you can sleep soundly while fasting, you should try to exercise regularly. Choose a time about four to five hours before bed to exercise. This means that you take one hour after breaking the fast to exercise. With exercise, sleep quality will be better when fasting.

Siesta

If you have time, take a nap for about 15 to 30 minutes. Naps in a short but quality time will do a lot for your body. Besides being able to control stress, napping is also able to make up for the sleep that is lacking at night.

Don't eat before bed

Try to go to bed hungry or full. Large meals a few hours before going to bed can reduce sleep quality and can lead to strokes. If you are used to eating before bed, eat snacks with high nutrition, such as fruit or healthy biscuits.

Sleep early

If you don't have time to exercise, then it's best to go to bed early. After tarawih prayer, set aside 90 minutes to do the remaining activities for the day then get ready for sleep. Getting used to bed early is very good for your body condition.
