Ratu Tisha Resigns From The Position Of Secretary General Of PSSI
JAKARTA - Ratu Tisha Destria resigned from the position of Secretary General of PSSI, Monday, April 13. Ratu Tisha has held this position since 2017.
The first female secretary general of PSSI in history announced her resignation through a voice recording uploaded on the Instagram page @ Ratu.tisha.
In the upload, he admitted that he was grateful to have worked at PSSI and had the opportunity to serve the members, players, coaches, referees, match commissioners, instructors and football fans since taking office in July 2017.
"Together we spin the chain of young amateurs and elites, build cooperation with world football federations, revive creative business lines, revive women's football and, finally, Indonesia was chosen to host the U-20 World Cup. A pride that cannot be realized without the support of the PSSI management and members, the government and football 'stakeholders', "said Tisha.
Currently, Ratu Tisha is still the Vice President of the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) for the 2019-2023 period. She also became the first woman in history to be in this position.
During her career at PSSI, Ratu Tisha was involved in the implementation of youth competitions for the Elite Pro Academy Liga 1 U-16, U-18, U-20 and League 1 Women.
Ratu Tisha and his staff also contributed to the selection of Indonesia to host the U-20 World Cup in 2021.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan, respects the step of resigning from Ratu Tisha Destria as Secretary General of PSSI. Ratu Tisha has sent a letter of resignation to the Chairman of PSSI today.
"I appreciate the decision of Ratu Tisha's sister. PSSI would like to thank Ratu Tisha for her service as Secretary General," said Iriawan, quoted from the official website of PSSI.
