Discussing Danantara, Deputy Minister Of SOEs Meeting Closed 4 Hours With DPR
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Kartika Wirjoatmodjo and Dony Oskaria attended a working meeting with Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives.
The meeting which lasted behind closed doors for four hours discussed the Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara).
As for the schedule, the meeting is scheduled for 10.00 WIB. However, the meeting only started at 11.00 WIB and was completed at 15.00 WIB.
Kartika Wirjoatmodjo revealed that the main discussion in the working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR was related to the transfer process or the ownership of BUMN shares from the Ministry of SOEs to Danantara.
Furthermore, Tiko, as he is familiarly called, revealed the reason the meeting was held behind closed doors. He said this was because the discussion was very technical, ranging from corporations to the BUMN inbreng legal process to Danantara.
"(The meeting is closed) because it is still technical, the policy is complex, namely corporate policies and accounting. So, discussing the details regarding the legal process and accounting are quite technical," said Tiko after a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 19.

Regarding inbreng, Tiko revealed that he would prioritize SOEs with Limited Company (PT) status. Meanwhile, he said, BUMN with the status of a public company (Perum) is still in the study stage.
"We are still reviewing the Perum first. If this is a non-perum BUMN, what we are talking about is related to operations," said Tiko.
