Police Shot Dead In Lampung, Joint Team Finds 12 Bullets
THE joint team from the Lampung Regional Police and the Sriwijaya Regional Military Command found 12 bullet casings related to the police case shot in Lampung and killed during a raid on the cockfighting gambling arena on Monday, March 17.
The evidence was obtained from the results of the crime scene (TKP) at the scene of the incident in the Register Area 44, Karang Manik Village, Batin State District, Way Kanan.
Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Pol Helmy Santika together with Danrem 043/Black Garuda Brigadier General Rikas Hidayatullah directly monitored the crime scene processing on Tuesday.
In addition to bullet casings, the team also secured evidence related to gambling activities and burned stalls and huts in the cockfighting arena.
"From the results of the examination, several pieces of evidence were found, including the cockfighting arena and 12 bullet casings," said Inspector General of Police Helmy Santika.
Meanwhile, the Commander of Korem (Danrem) 043/Garuda Hitam Brigadier General Rikas Hidayatullah confirmed that one TNI officer had been arrested by Denpom Sriwijaya in connection with the police case of being shot dead in Lampung.
"We hope everyone is patient. For now, one individual perpetrator has been arrested by Denpom," said Brigadier General Rikas.
Previously, three policemen were shot dead during a cockfighting raid in the Register 44 area, Karang Mani Village on Monday, March 17 afternoon.
The victims who died in this incident were the Head of the Batin State Police, Iptu Lusiyanto, as well as two members of the Batin State Police, namely Bripka Petrus and Bripda Ghalib.

The TNI has revealed the identities of the two soldiers involved in this shooting case. They are known to be on duty at the Batin State Posramil and have now been detained in Denpom 2/3 Lampung for further investigation.
"They have surrendered," said Kapendam II/Sriwijaya Colonel Inf Eko Syah Putra Siregar in connection with the police case shot in Lampung to death.
