KLH Sanctions 8 Perusahan In Puncak Bogor And 6 Companies In Sentul
The lack of water upstream of the Ciliwung River and Bekasi River watersheds is suspected to be the cause of the floods and landslides that hit the Jabodetabek area recently.
The Minister of Environment/Head of the Environmental Control Agency through the Deputy for Law Enforcement (Gakkum) Inspector General Rizal Irawan said, there were 8 companies that had been subject to government coercion sanctions in the form of self-dismantling of all their buildings no later than 30 days after the letter was received by the company and were obliged to carry out recovery after the demolition was completed.
The eight companies located upstream of the Ciliwung River watershed in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, namely PT Jaswita Lestari Jaya (Playing Park), PT Eigerindo Multi-Industrial Products (Provision of Natural Tourism Facilities and Artificial Tourism Services), PT Bobobox Asset Management (Jasa Accommodation), PT Karunia Puncak Wisata (Restoran and Campgrounds), PT Farm Nature and Rainbow (Curf and Umbi Plantation), PT Pinus Foresta Indonesia (Agrotourism), CV Mega Karya Anugrah (Agrotourism), and PT Jelajah Handal Lintas ( Sports Tourism Activities, Restaurants and Hotels) together with PT Perkebunan Nusantara I Regional 2 - Gunung Mas Agrotourism Unit and PT Sumber Sari Bumi Pakuan. They have been subject to administrative sanctions of government coercion in the form of efforts to demolish independently and recover.
"If they do not carry out independent demolition, the government will carry out the demolition. The company will be subject to a weight of sanctions in the form of imposing criminal sanctions," said Inspector General Rizal Irawan in a written statement, Tuesday, March 18.

(Residential, Hotel, Trade Center and Tourist Areas), PT Light Instrumenindo/Rainbow Hill Golf Club (Financial Facilities and Tourism Areas), PT Mulia Colliman International (Gunung Geulis Golf), and Summarecon Bogor managed by PT Kencana Jayaproperti Mulia, PT Kencana Jayaproperti Agung and PT Gunung Srimala Permai (Real Estate).
"We have been ordered to stop all activities of the 6 companies upstream of the Bekasi River watershed and criminal law enforcement will be carried out and a civil lawsuit for environmental losses, considering the damage caused is allegedly very large," said Inspector General Rizal Irawan.
Inspector General Rizal emphasized that the Ministry of Environment will not hesitate to dismantle all buildings that damage watersheds upstream of the Ciliwung watershed and Bekasi River watersheds, as well as other upstream-upstream watersheds, even buildings that are currently rife on Mount Salak.
