Nissan's Latest Electric Car Has Landed In Dealer Ahead Of Official Launch
JAKARTA Nissan is getting serious about working on the electric car segment by presenting their newest sedan, Nissan N7, which is based on Dongfeng eEMBER 007. Ahead of its official launch in May 2025, this car unit has been spotted on the dealer network, ready to greet potential consumers.
Reporting from Carnewschina, Tuesday, March 18, the presence of Nissan N7 aims to strengthen the position of this brand in China's increasingly competitive automotive market. This electric sedan was first introduced at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2024 and is now present at dealers in elegant cream colors.
In terms of appearance, Nissan N7 carries a modern design with futuristic-style doors, a 7 front light, and a thin stripe that emphasizes the aerodynamic impression. The silhouette is sleek with a flowing roof line, giving a sporty and luxurious impression.
Entering the cabin, the aura of sporty is increasingly felt. The front seat is equipped with wide head support for maximum comfort. The central console is oval-shaped with two bars, while the minimalist steering without many physical buttons further strengthens the modern feel. The screen of the large instrument on the dashboard is the main control center, while the two compartments at the front are ready to accommodate drinking bottles. In the second row, there is a third head back and a mid-back, increasing the comfort of the rear passenger.

Nissan N7 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip and the Deepseek R1 artificial intelligence system. This car also adopts advanced driver assistance technology from Nissan collaboration with Chinese Momenta companies. The system supports the Navigate On Autopilot (NOA) feature that allows semi-autonomous driving on highways and urban roads.
In terms of performance, Nissan N7 is only offered in the variant of the electric motorcycle made by Dongfeng. The entry-level model has 215 hp of power, while the more powerful variant emits up to 268 hp of power. For energy sources, Nissan N7 uses an LFP battery produced by Dongfeng Sunwoda JV, ensuring high durability and efficiency.
