Two NGO Personnel Reported By Police After Stabbing Security At SMK 9 Tangerang Regency
TANGERANG Two non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were reported to the Tangerang Police on suspicion of stabbing a security guard at SMK 9 Tangerang Regency. The incident occurred on Monday, March 17, 2025, during the day, with the victim with the initials KO (50).
Tangerang Police Chief, Kombes Pol Baktiar Joko Mujiono, said that the victim suffered stab wounds to the back of the head and bruises to the nose.
"The victim suffered stab wounds to the back of the head and bruises to the nose," said Kombes Pol Joko in his statement, Monday, March 17, 2025.
According to Joko, the victim, who is a member of the Setia Hati Terate Brotherhood Silat (PSHT), was helpless when the two NGO members ganged up on him.

The incident began when two NGOs came to SMK 9 Tangerang Regency to meet with the Public Relations of the school, to collect a response regarding the letter previously sent by their party.
"The perpetrator admitted to being an NGO person and asked for a response regarding the letter that had been sent earlier, then they met the Head of Public Relations at the school," Joko explained.
However, the two NGOs did not accept the explanation given until they finally went berserk at the scene. The victim, who was on duty at the time, tried to defuse the situation, but there was a commotion that led to acts of violence.
"Then there was a beating and stabbing of the victim by the alleged perpetrator using a knife or badik, so that the victim suffered a stab wound to the back of the head," said Joko.
After the incident, the victim was immediately rushed to the Balaraja Regional General Hospital for intensive treatment from the medical team.
The Tangerang Police Chief added that the police had investigated and pursued the alleged perpetrators of the beating. In addition, security measures have been implemented to prevent any countermeasures from the PSHT group.
"Our anticipation is the potential movement of the PSHT (Setia Hati Terate) member group Rayon, Solear District, which may carry out sweeping actions against NGOs," added Joko.
The police ensured that security measures had been taken by deploying a number of personnel at the location to keep the situation conducive and avoid clashes between groups.
The investigation process continues to reveal the stabbing perpetrators and find peaceful solutions so that there are no further conflicts.
