Android Auto 14.0 Beta Released, Prepare Defrost Button And Maps Warning Control
JAKARTA - Google officially released Android Auto 14.0 in the beta program, although without any major changes that users immediately see. However, behind-the-scenes code shows that this US Mountain View-based company is setting up temperature control features. This includes front and rear defrost buttons, as well as warning settings on Google Maps.

Although these buttons are not yet active in the app, the following code strings are found in the update:
It's not clear how this temperature control will be implemented, but it shows that Android Auto is growing into a more integrated system with vehicles.
Warning Settings in Google Maps

Google previously received criticism regarding the incident warning features on Android Auto and CarPlay which were deemed too annoying. This new option is likely aimed at giving users greater control over notifications that appear while driving.
Currently, Android Auto 14.0 is still in beta phase, but is expected to be available to all users in the next few weeks. Since no major changes are seen directly, it's likely that Google will also use this update to fix bugs and set up other new features.
With the development of this defrost feature and warning control, Android Auto is increasingly approaching a more integrated and personalized experience for vehicle users who support this platform.
