Police Raid Minya Kita's Illegal Production Site Not In Accordance With The Volume In Meruya
JAKARTA - The unlicensed production and packing site of Minya Kita in the Meruya area, West Jakarta, was raided by the West Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) on Monday, March 17.
The raid was carried out after reports from the public regarding the practice of illegally packing Minya Kita.
"We received information from the public regarding the production and packing of oil that did not have an official permit," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Arfan Zulkan Sipayung when confirmed, Monday, March 17.
The raids were carried out after tracing several markets and information from residents regarding the practice of illegal packing.
"We immediately followed up with raids on the production site in Meruya," he said.
From the results of the raid, officers found oil packaged with an unstandard volume, which was around 800-850 milliliters per pack, when it should have reached 1 liter.

"They do not have a production permit and do oil packaging with inappropriate volume. When we arrived, they had finished tapping and were ready to send these products to various regions, including Jakarta and all over Indonesia," he said.
Currently, the police are still examining a number of witnesses related to this case.
"We have examined approximately 10 witnesses, both from the production side, employees, and related experts," he said.
Currently, the West Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the case and completing the document files.
