Ahead Of Lebaran Homecoming, Deputy Speaker Of The House Of Representatives Sidak Pasar Senen

JAKARTA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, conducted a surprise inspection (sidak) at Pasar Senen, Central Jakarta. This inspection was carried out in order to see KAI's readiness ahead of the 2025 Eid homecoming season.

"Earlier, we, friends from Commission VI together with leaders and members, and accompanied by train ranks, have seen people going home and people traveling outside the city of Jakarta," said Dasco at Senen Station, Monday, March 17.

During the review, Dasco appreciated KAI's better service. He even said that Indonesia's trains were not inferior to foreign countries.

"And we see that the service from the train, we see the trains, especially trains made by our railway industry, are not inferior to trains from abroad," said Dasco.

"In terms of cleanliness, comfort and maybe earlier on time and security, we give appreciation to the Indonesian railway," continued the Daily Chair of Gerindra.

Dasco also saw the interior on the train and chatted with passengers. He also praised the cleanliness aspect at the Senen market station.

"Although the shape has not changed from the 1900s, the situation has changed greatly when we came here a few years ago," he said.

He also asked PT KAI to improve its services for the safety and comfort of passengers.

"We ask the Indonesian railways to continue to improve services for our society," he said.
