Marc Marquez Had LOST Alex To MotoGP Argentina 2025

JAKARTA - Ducati Lenovo Team racer, Marc Marquez, admitted that he would surrender to be defeated by Alex Marquez before undergoing the 2025 Argentine MotoGP race, Monday, March 17, 2025, early morning WIB.

The second series of MotoGP 2025 took place at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit. From the start, Marc Marquez's movement was always overshadowed by Alex Marquez, his younger brother who appeared for Gresini Racing.

At the beginning of lap 4, Marc blundered too wide at Turn 1. This moment made The Baby Alien surrender if he would lose to Alex Marquez.

"Today I was impressed with my younger brother about Alex (Marquez). In one part of the race, I thought I would finish second."

"The problem is, he goes very smoothly, very well, always maintains speed at corners," said Marc Marquez, quoted from Crash, Monday, March 17, 2025.

"I mean the tires don't hurt. I said, today people have other levels," said the Spaniard again.

After that, Marc Marquez continued to follow Alex closely. In the middle of the race, Marc overtook Alex, but his younger brother didn't want to lose and returned to first place.

Marc's efforts to get past Alex have only paid off on the 21st lap or when the 2025 Argentine MotoGP left five laps.

After that Marc Marquez stepped on the gas and left Alex with a difference of 1.3 seconds to become the winner.

"Then, in the end I survived. I took risks, as you can see, I took a lot of risks, maybe too much at some point of the race," said Marc Marquez.

"However, it is nice to be able to win with 37 more points and continue with a very good atmosphere in the garage because the Ducati Lenovo team did an extraordinary job, also in the family," he said.
