"Indeed, kidney disease patients are still allowed (eating fruit), but choose low potassium fruits," he said.

"The high potassium is avoided, such as bananas, coconuts, dates, belimbing," he added.

Kidney patients are not allowed to eat high potassium fruit because it can increase the workload of the kidneys. Troubled kidneys will be heavier filtering potassium in the blood, which may cause heart rhythm disorders to muscle weakness.

Therefore, for people who want to eat kidney disease, choose a low potassium fruit and stay limited. Low potassium fruit includes apples, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberry, and wine.
