Focus On Gemini, Google Removes Seven Features From Google Assistant
JAKARTA Not long ago, Google announced that it would replace Google Assistant with Gemini. Following the announcement, Google began to reduce features in its virtual assistants.
On the Google Assistant aid page, the tech giant explained that they would remove seven features in it. This is done so that Google Assistant can be of higher quality, more reliable, and more useful to users.
Google also explains that they want to focus on their preferred experience and invest in the feature so they will remove some features that are considered less useful. Here are some of the features.

The removal of these seven features also follows last year's feature cuts. In total, dozens of features have been removed from Google Assistant on the grounds of 'optimizing the app'. Most likely, this is done so that the old device can still use the assistant without any problems.
The reason is, even though it will be replaced by Gemini, Google Assistant will continue to operate on Android 9 devices down or devices with less than 2GB of RAM. It is not yet known when the features mentioned above will be removed.
