Popular Messaging Applications In Indonesia
Based on data shared by The Global Statistics, there are five top applications that are often used by the public. These five applications also control the market with a variety of active users.

Overall, this application controls 88.70 percent of the market. With a fairly large percentage distance, the second position is occupied by the Telegram app. This platform is in great demand because of the simple UI, diverse stickers, and other interesting features.
Telegram is used by 128.55 million people or around 62.8 percent of the total number of Indonesians. Next, there is the Facebook Messenger application with a total user of 99.48 million people or around 48.6 percent.
LINE is still at the top five list even though this platform is no longer as popular as it used to be. This application was widely used, but the feature could not outperform WhatsApp or Telegram so the application was increasingly abandoned.
