Barcelona Learns A Lot From Record Never Winning Against Atletico This Season
JAKARTA - Barcelona are recorded to have been scheduled to face Atletico Madrid four times this season.
The two matches that have been passed have ended negatively for the Blaugrana. They never won in the two meetings.
The first encounter in La Liga ended in a 1-2 defeat at the Olympic Lluis Companys Stadium, 22 December 2024.
Next, Hansi Flick's team also failed to win after winning 4-4 in the Copa del Rey first leg, February 26, 2025. In fact, Barcelona had led 4-2 10 minutes before normal time was over.
The closest meeting will be presented in the 28th week of La Liga, Monday, March 17, 2025, early morning WIB, at the Olympic Lluis Companys Stadium.
Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski insists that his team has developed two previous clashes with Atletico.

"I think at the start of the year, not only did we lose against Atletico at home, but also two games or three games before we didn't play well."
"We knew we had to take lessons from the game and try to do better in the second half of the season. I think we learned a lot."
"I think and hope that this season, the second half, because of what happened in December 2024, can help us a lot," Lewandowski told ESPN.
In addition to clashes in La Liga, Barcelona and Atletico still have one more meeting, namely the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals.
The match at Metropolitano on April 3, 2025 is very decisive for both of them who are eyeing the trophy this season.
Barcelona and Atletico are currently competing for the La Liga and Copa del Rey trophies.
In the La Liga standings this season, they are only one point adrift. The Blaugrana are at the top of the standings with a collection of 57 points - just like Real Madrid - but have one game more.
