Danantara Opens The Project Proposed By The Government, Will Be Analyzed Carefully
JAKARTA - The Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) is open to all projects and programs proposed by the government.
"We are open to all ministries, agencies or anyone who has programs, projects given to us, of course we will analyze them properly," said Head of BPI Danantara Rosan Perkasa Roeslani in a statement reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 15.
According to Rosan, according to President Prabowo Subianto's direction, Danantara will analyze each project first, which is carried out with caution and in a transparent manner.
"We in the Danantara have criteria and parameters, we are open to all inputs, but we will certainly follow the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, it must be done with caution, transparently, proper governance and also analyzed, due diligence and so on. We are open, "he said.
The government continues to accelerate the downstream agenda by preparing 21 first-stage projects that will be funded with an investment of US$40 billion.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia said several projects would receive funding through Danantara.
Bahlil said that these projects are part of the downstream target of US$618 billion by 2025.
Several main projects to be funded include the construction of oil storage facilities on Nipah Island, Riau Islands, to strengthen national energy security.
In addition, the government will also build an oil refinery with a capacity of 500 thousand barrels per day, as well as a coal-based dimethileter (DME) downstream project as a substitute for LPG imports.
In addition to the energy sector, said Bahlil, downstreaming will also be carried out on other commodities such as copper, nickel, bauxite to alumina, as well as the agricultural, fishery, and forestry sectors.
Bahlil emphasized that funding for these projects does not depend entirely on foreign investment. For example, downstreaming of DME.
The state, through President Prabowo Subianto's policy, said Bahlil, will take advantage of domestic sources. Meanwhile, the technology will take advantage of foreign roles.
