Welcoming Lebaran Moments, KCIC Has Selled Tickets From D-25 Departure

JAKARTA - The sales period for Fast Train ticket sales has been extended to D-25 days of departure to facilitate community mobility during the Eid al-Fitr momentum.

He said that the extension of ticket sales time was due to the large number of requests from the public who wanted to plan trips during the Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijri holiday early.

Even though there is currently a ticket request long before the Lebaran moment, his party noted that so far the trend of buyingASH tickets shows that around 85 percent of passengers buy tickets on the day of departure.

With the Eid al-Fitr moment and the extension of the ticket sales period, Eva hopes that people can order tickets online from an early age so that they don't run out.

He said that ticket purchases can be made up to 30 minutes before departure via a number of online channels, namely the official KCIC websiteticket.kcic.co.id page, mediation application, KAI Access, Livin' by Mandiri, BRIMo by BRI, and Wondr by BNI.

"Offline purchases can be made at the counter and station ticket machines up to 15 minutes before departure," he said.

Regarding ticket prices, Eva said that her party was still using a dynamic pricing scheme according to the level of consumer demand (dynamic pricing) during the Lebaran holiday this time.

"For now, the lowest is IDR 225,000, the highest is IDR 350,000. However, usually during this holiday the price rate can be between IDR 300,000 to IDR 350,000," he explained.

He also advised the public to use a subscription ticket for the Frequent total card because it has a fixed ticket rate (flat price).

For example, the Jakarta-Bandung Gold Frequent counter Card for IDR 2 million has a quota of 10 travel tickets for all Halim-Karawang-Padalarang-Tegalluar Summarecon relations which can be used within 60 days of purchases.

"Well, if it's Rp. 2 million for 10 trips, it means that one trip is Rp. 200 thousand, right. Well, there are no provisions for this Frequentwaser Card at a time when the season is not allowed to be used. So, it can be used at any time," said Eva.
