Sea Fence In Kohod Village Still Installed, Fisherman Thinks Problem Is Solved
TANGERANG - The fence made of bamboo is still installed in Kohod village, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency. Residents also questioned the Government's seriousness.
A local villager named Marto admitted that he was surprised that the sea fence in Kohod Village was still installed. He thought that initially the Central Government had completed it completely.
"We think everything is finished. It turns out that not all of them," said Marto, Friday, March 14.
Marto said the sea fence was still installed. Even in the form of lots.
He said that if there were several fishing boats moving from the east, they still had to bend around to avoid the fences.
"Still limp (turns). Because it's still in shape," said Marto.

Separately, the Head of the Banten Province Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service, Eli Susiyanti, confirmed that there are still illegal sea fences that have not been lifted.
"That's right, mas, in Kohod waters," he said
Based on the results of the last patrol, Eli claims, there are about 600 meters left. The sea fence has tried to be dismantled with a tagboat pulled but can't.
"It takes heavy equipment and pontoons. It has been coordinated with the center," he said.
However, Eli could not confirm when the lifting of the sea fence in Kohod waters would continue until it was completed.
"It's still being communicated," he said.
