Stephen Curry Becomes The First Basketball Player With 4,000 Tripoins In NBA History
JAKARTA The Golden State Warriors star, Stephen Curry, officially set a record as the first basketball player in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA) which managed to reach 4,000 tripoins.
He achieved this record when his team extended their winning streak to six games by beating Sacramento Kings 130-104 on Friday, March 14, 2025.
"This is a big achievement. A number I never even imagined before," Curry said on the NBA's official website.
This achievement is an extraordinary record. The reason is, when Curry started his career, there was nothing in the history of NBA basketball players who had made 3,000 three-point throws.

Curry only needed two three-point throws to reach 4,000 tripoins before fighting Kings. The historic achievement was then made in the third quarter.
The 37-year-old basketball player made this important milestone just days after he successfully recorded 25 thousand points in his career last weekend.
Currently, LA Clippers star James Harden is in second place on the list of the most tripoin printers of all time with 3,120 tripoins. Following them in third place was Ray Allen with 2,974 tripoins.
