The Komdigi Office Was Ransacked By The Central Jakarta Kejari, The Deputy Minister Of Handing Over The Legal Process
JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), Nezar Patria, has fully handed over the law enforcement process related to the alleged corruption of the Temporary National Data Center (PDNS).
The Central Jakarta District Attorney's Office is known to have searched several places in the areas of Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, Bogor, and South Tangerang, including the Komdigi Office regarding this alleged corruption.
"Yes, we'll just leave it to the legal process, because it's related to the PDNS case and that's the follow-up, so we leave it to the legal process," Nezar told reporters in Jakarta, Friday, March 14.
However, when he was further mentioned about the alleged corruption crime coinciding with him serving as Deputy Minister of Komdigi, Nezar was reluctant to comment. It is only emphasized again to wait for the progress of its handling.
"Oh no, from 2020 to 2024, it's sustainable, just look at the examination later," Nezar said.
The case began in 2020, at which time Komdigi was still the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) procuring PDNS goods and services worth Rp. 958 billion.
In its implementation, it is suspected that there was a conditioning for the winning of the PDNS contract between Kominfo officials and the private sector, in this case PT. AL with a contract value of Rp. 60,378,450,000.
Then in 2021, the same private company won a tender with a contract value of Rp 102,671,346,360.

In his statement, the Head of the Intelligence Section of the Central Jakarta District Attorney's Office, Bani Immanuel Ginting, stated that in the alleged conditioning, Kominfo officials allegedly removed certain requirements to win a private company in a project worth Rp188.9 billion.
The same company won again cloud computing contracts in 2023 and 2024 with a total value of more than IDR 607.5 billion, despite partnering with parties who did not meet ISO compliance standards 22301.
The absence of consideration from BSSN in the terms of the offer is also suspected of contributing to the PDNS ransomware attack in June 2024, which caused disruption to service and leakage of population data, although the total PDNS procurement budget has reached more than Rp959.4 billion.
Most recently, the Central Jakarta Prosecutor's Office confirmed that it had secured 3 units of CRV 2024, CRV 2020, and Honda Civic cars, some money, cellphones and laptops related to the alleged corruption of PDNS.
