Glenn Samuel Releases 2 Weeks For Couples Who Often Do Silent Treatment

JAKARTA - Glenn Samuel maintains his existence in the Indonesian music world with the latest release entitled "2 weeks". This song will officially air starting today, Friday, March 14.

With pop nuances RnB and soul, listeners will be spoiled with Glenn's lyrics and vocal melodies, who have now collected six singles since deciding to work independently. This song was written by Glenn Samuel himself, like his first five songs in his EP (mini album) entitled Egen.

In writing the lyrics, 2 weeks is inspired by the story of a couple who are in a silent treatment situation for two weeks after a great fight. And after two weeks of silence they finally realized that the two could not live without each other.

"Sometimes we need great debate and silent treatment to teach us the meaning of understanding each other, forgiveness and accepting each other," Glenn Samuel said in his written statement, March 14.

In this song Glenn also acts as a producer, with the help of Stevanus LJ who is known as guitarist Bernadya. A mature production process and collaboration with talented musicians make this song of high quality and ready to compete in the music industry.

Glenn hopes that the song "2 weeks" can reach the hearts of the listeners, especially for listeners who are in a "silent treatment" situation out there. As a first step, Glenn will release a lyric video for this song, while the music video will follow later. This lyric video is expected to help fans to better understand and absorb the meaning of each lyrics delivered.

"Hopefully 2 weeks can serve as a reminder to friends that as hard as we are at war in a relationship, don't be easy to say harsh words, let alone say separation based solely on emotions but you will regret it in the future, as a reminder of fighting in a relationship is normal but don't forget to forgive each other and accept that it will never be enough when we look for perfection in humans, learn to accept each other's imperfections is very beautiful," Glenn concluded.
