Xiaomi SU7 Pro Is Selling Hard In China, The Waiting Period Is Almost A Year
JAKARTA - Xiaomi confirmed that an order for one of its electric SU7 Pro vehicles had been sold out for 2025 following reports of around 150,000 units of waiting vehicles being delivered to customers.
Launching from CarNewsChina, Friday, March 14, this is evidenced by a notification on the official Xiaomi Auto App application which says the waiting time for SU7 Pro's electric sedan delivery after the booking is in the range of 43-46 weeks or almost a year.
With the length of waiting period on the SU7 Pro model, it means that customers can only receive the vehicle after a full year or are scheduled to start shipping in January 2026.
Not only the SU7 Pro, but the standard variant now takes about 36-39 weeks or 9-10 months. Other variants such as Max require a waiting time of 30-33 weeks and Ultra type which is the most expensive choice to have an indent period of up to 16 weeks.
With so many car enthusiasts, Xiaomi is trying to increase production capacity to achieve a delivery target of up to 300,000 units.
As an illustration, this manufacturer from China has sent 139,487 units to customers. Thus, Xiaomi intends to double its production capacity.
