Junjung Morality, Jimi Multhazam Always Mentions The Names Of Hospitals And Marky When Bringing Yellow On Stage
JAKARTA - Jimi Multhazam sees morality as a reference when responding to problems between songwriters and performers which have recently become a hot topic of conversation in the music industry.
Meanwhile, Jimi and Morfem once re-released a song from the Hospital entitled 'Kuning' written by Mark Ricardo Nayyan alias Marky.
Jimi said Morfem always mentions the names of hospitals and Marky every time he brings 'Kuning' on the music stage.
"Gia still calls Marky the songwriter (Yellow')," Jimi told the media crew at Pondok Labu, South Jakarta recently.
Even from other projects related to Yellow' I will still have direct contact with the children of the hospital, "he continued.
Not only when re-recording the song 'Kuning', Jimi also admitted that he always asked permission from the Hospital and Marky when performing it in music performances.
"That (permission) is definitely there. Marky and the hospital are really old colleagues," he said. I'm even still mentioning (the name of the hospital and Marky) on stage. I said 'this is a tribute to Indonesia's best pop indie band', and people immediately know who it is.

Furthermore, regarding the problem of songwriters with performers, Jimi reiterated that the morality of both parties is important.
According to him, the problems in the Indonesian music industry that are currently happening are the impact of past uncertainty.
"Actually, this is a moral problem, the problem of song creation, your relationship with songwriters and arrangers. It's just that in the past, the songwriter and the performers might have sold (the song) on a broken basis, they didn't understand this. When the song was big by the new performer, there was an ups and downs," said Jimi.
"Indeed, education is important. Maybe songwriters should be clear (clear) about his cooperation with performers," he said. If I look more at the future. If I look back, I'm sure it's very tangled.
