BPJT Urges The Public To Use Rest Areas No More Than 30 Minutes During Eid Homecoming
JAKARTA - The role of the community is important to support the smooth flow of homecoming during Lebaran 2025. Related to this, the public is asked not to stop at rest areas and services (TIP) aka rest areas for more than 30 minutes.
Member of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Elements of the Community, Tulus Abadi, said that this needs to be done in order to avoid congestion in the rest area.
"We urge travelers not to spend too long using rest areas, try to do a maximum of 30 minutes in rest areas," Tulus said at the Astra Infra Group Lebaran Media Gathering event which was monitored online in Jakarta, Thursday, March 13.

Tulus added that people can use rest areas outside the toll road so that there is no long buildup.

As for now, the total length of toll roads operating in Indonesia has reached 3,049.49 kilometers, managed by 53 Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) with a total of 532 Toll Gates (GT).
"Currently, there are 3,049.49 kilometers of toll roads operating throughout Indonesia. This will facilitate the flow of homecoming throughout Indonesia," he concluded.
