BMW Driver's High School Student Becomes A Suspect After Collision Of Motorcyclist In Tangerang
TANGERANG A high school student with the initials KVP (16), a luxury BMW car driver with license plate number B-889-KEN, has been named a suspect or child in conflict with law (ABH) after hitting a motorcyclist with the initials HM (37) in Buaran Indah, Tangerang City.
The Head of Laka Polres Metro Tangerang Kota, AKP Badruzzaman, confirmed the status of a KVP suspect today, Thursday, March 13, already a minor suspect.
Badruzzaman explained that KVP, which is a student of SMA Harapan Bangsa, is currently still in detention. The investigation process of KVP was also accompanied by officers from the Correctional Center (Bapas).
"The investigation process is being accompanied by Fathers," he concluded.

Police revealed that the accident involving BMW driven by KVP with an AM (37)-driven motorbike was caused by the less skilled student in driving the car.
"I don't think he is skilled, because he is still a minor," said AKP Badruzzaman.
In addition, it was revealed that KVP does not yet have a driving license (SIM) because it is only 16 years old. However, urine test results show that KVP was not under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.
Accident Chronology
This incident occurred on Monday, March 10, at around 20.00 WIB in front of Warung Mamah Fadil, Buaran Indah, Tangerang City. At that time, KVP and two of his friends who were still in school had just returned from SMA Harapan Bangsa which is located in Modernland, Cipondoh, Tangerang City.
The BMW vehicle they were driving drove from Jalan Benteng Betawi to Jalan Arteri Pinggir Tol JKC. However, upon arrival in front of Mamah Fadil's shop, Buaran Indah, the car hit an AM motorcyclist.
"So (the student) was drunk or not, he came home from school at the nation's hope school in Modernland (Kota Tangerang), the three of them came home in the car, still wearing school clothes. We also did a urine test, he was negative," said Badruzzaman.
Now, KVP is charged with further legal proceedings, while the families of the victims are still waiting for justice for this tragic event.
