Lamborghini Lanzador Technical Leaks Production Version: The Power Is Buas Up To 2,000 HP

JAKARTA - Amid the uncertainty of the global electric vehicle trend, Lamborghini has confirmed that it will launch its first electric vehicle based on the Lanzador concept in 2029.

Although the launch still takes four years, a technical leak from the production version of the Lanzador has leaked.

This was revealed by Volkswagen Group CEO Oliver Blume who revealed that this electric car will use a special platform developed by Porsche for a number of luxury and high-performance models belonging to this group.

"This is a very suitable arrangement for Lamborghini electric cars," Blume said as quoted by Motor1, Thursday, March 13.

The platform is claimed to have voltages of up to 980V or greater than electric cars in general, namely 800V. Thus, this production version of the Lanzador will have a fierce power.

According to the report, the Lanzador can get up to 2,000 hp of power when it will be launched at the end of this decade. Of course this figure is very fantastic considering Lamborghini's previous claims only reached 1,341 hp.

The power will come from two electric motors assisted by an all-wheeled driving system (AWD). The car will be fully produced at the Sant'Agata, Italy factory like other Lamborghini models.

The lanzador was introduced in mid-2023 which featured type 2+2 with high ground clearance, thus presenting a more sporting driving style.

In addition, the manufacturer with the 'banteng rampaging' logo also offers other electrification vehicles with the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) driving system, such as Revuelto, who is positioned as the successor to Aventador, Manage SE, and the Temerario, became the successor to Huracan.
